The Doctorate Programme in Energy and Sustainable Engineering has as a primary objective the advance training in research methodologies and activities associated with the field of Energy and Sustainable Engineering, through the elaboration of a doctoral thesis focused on one of its multiple scientific and technology facets. An advance and multidisciplinary training is provided in line with the requirements of the labour market, oriented to research and to make knowledge contributions when developing new technologies, materials, products and techniques helping an efficient and thoughtful use of energy in different fields, from energy generation to end use and in different sectors (industry, building, construction, housing, transport, electricity, etc.). Among other skills acquired through the training activities and the elaboration of the doctoral thesis, it is expected that the doctorate students are able to devise, design and implement an original quality, through and accurate research and make a contribution in the field of the Energy and Sustainable Engineering to broaden the knowledge frontiers and deserving a publication and the recognition on the side of the scientific community and society both at national and international level. Finally, it is expected students get a suitable training in R&D&I fostering their inclusion in the labour market in companies working in the field of Energy and Sustainable Engineering. |

Qualifications required |
|
Graduates, Technical Engineers, Technical Architects and University graduates with a Master’s official titulation; Engineers and Architects (3 MECES level); DEA graduates or proven research experience; and doctors; in the field of Technical Teachings (Engineering and Architecture) and Experimental Sciences, from national or foreign educational system. |
