Admission and Registration

Pre-registration and registration procedure and deadlines

The pre-registration is carried out by telematic means, providing in attached files the necessary documentation to prove the application, through the following link: https://posgrado.uca.es/doctor

From the welcome screen, you must select Call: 2019/20 (if not already selected). The form will remain open (except for maintenance stops) for 24 hours until the deadline. If you already have credentials to access the telematic services of the University of Cadiz (because you have already been a student, or you are a teacher or PAS), you must use your usual username and password. Otherwise, you must register as a new user previously. If you have any doubt about how to fill in the form, please consult the help icon (?) that you will find in the upper right corner or contact posgrado@uca.es

In your application, you must select one of the Programs included in the Doctorate Programs Offer. The Academic Committee of this Program will be in charge of evaluating your application, once the administrative services check that you meet the access requirements set out in the regulations. In the application form, you can also indicate two more Programs, in case you do not obtain a place in the one you have chosen, although they will only be taken into account once the process has been completed, in those Programs that still have places available, at the discretion of the Academic Committee responsible.

You must attach all the required documentation, and if you formalize the application with the intention of participating in a pre-doctoral contract call for which pre-admission to a Doctoral Program is required, you must indicate this in the section “Additional Information” so that the corresponding Academic Committee can evaluate the application.

If your application is successful, the Academic Committee will assign you a tutor, and you will be able to formalize your registration.

The deadlines for pre-registration and registration are specified below:

Applications ________________________ untill 30 September
Provisional results _________________ November 4
Allegations _________________________ November 4-8
Resolution __________________________ November 21
Registration ________________________ November 21- December 4

Once the evaluation process by the Academic Committees of the Doctoral Programs is concluded, the provisional results (list of admitted, excluded and waiting list candidates) will be published on this same page. Likewise, once the allegations have been heard, the results will be published, leaving the registration period opens for those applicants who have obtained a place.

During the admission process, interested parties should check the status of their application through this channel or by entering the telematic platform where they formalized it. Once this process has been completed, the Academic Committees of the Programs with available places may assess the additional preferences indicated in the application by the applicants who have not obtained a place and may award them one of the vacant places, which will be communicated to the interested parties personally. Once the ordinary registration period has ended, the application form will be reopened, so that the Academic Committees can admit students after the deadline for those programs where not all the available places have been covered.
