Access Procedure

The access procedure to the Doctoral Program in Law is the same that EDUCA has published for all doctoral programs, which can be found here.

The selection of students will be carried out by the principles of objectivity, impartiality, merit and ability, assessing the academic record (maximum 10 points), the curriculum vitae (max. 8 points), and the thesis supervision commitment PhD (2 points).

The Comisión Académica of the Doctoral Program in Law has established criteria for assessing the merits of the candidates, which are listed in the Excel sheet that is made available to the candidates and which can be used as a guide.

Access procedure

The following are also program selection criteria:

  1. Preference for full-time dedication: In the event of equal scores in evaluating the merits, the student who requests full-time access will be preferred over the one who has opted for part-time.
  2. Reserve of places for new graduates: One-third of the places will be reserved for applicants who meet every one of the following requirements:
  3. Being under thirty years of age.
  4. Have obtained at least 7 points in the academic record section.
  5. Submit a valid doctoral thesis supervision commitment signed by a program professor.

If these positions are not covered by applicants who meet such conditions, they will be covered by others.

New students must know that the registration period will take place in the last days of November and the first two weeks of December of each year, approximately, and that the first formative activities of great interest to them will be in the last weeks of January and early February, preferably face-to-face and not online.
